Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the app ask for camera permission?
The flashlight (torch) is part of the camera hardware on iOS. Camera permission is required to control it. FlashGoPro does not take any photos or videos.
The flashlight doesn't turn on?
- Make sure you have granted camera permission in Settings > FlashGoPro > Camera.
- The flashlight feature only works on real devices. It is not available on the iOS Simulator.
- If another app is using the camera, the flashlight may not be available. Close other camera apps and try again.
What are the different modes?
- Steady – Continuous light at your chosen brightness.
- Blink – Flashing light with adjustable frequency (1–20 Hz).
- SOS – International Morse code distress signal (··· ——— ···).
- Breathing – Smooth fade in and out effect.
What is Screen Light?
Screen Light turns your entire screen white at full brightness, useful as a soft fill light. Tap anywhere on the screen to turn it off.
